Waydown Cottage Shepherds Huts

Waydown Shepherd’s Huts are nestled within the beautiful South Downs at Pyecombe, right by the South Downs Way and a few miles to the north of Brighton. They are also only a short walk away from the famous Jack and Jill Windmills. Surrounded by 4 acres of countryside, the huts provide a comfortable and peaceful place to stay.

All of the huts offer lighting, electricity and a wood burning stove. There are 2-berth huts available with an extra futon mattress for accompanying children, the 4-berth Woodkeepers Hut with a double bed and bunk beds and the newly converted 4-berth Bathing Machine Hut with double bed, bunk beds and a private terrace area.

All guests have access to the well-maintained shared washroom and toilet hut, new shower hut, kitchen with cooking equipment, fridge and microwave, as well as a covered barbeque area. Guests might also like to see our resident donkeys. Pyecombe Golf Club is next door and there is a pub in the village, The Plough, which serves food.
