The Cat Inn

The Cat Inn is a friendly 16th century free house with guest room accommodation situated in the charming hilltop village of West Hoathly, in between the towns of East Grinstead and Haywards Heath. There is free on-site car parking and an abundance of lovely walks from the front door into the Ashdown Forest and High Weald.

The pub has oak beams and inglenook fireplaces inside, with a lovely outdoors terrace. We serve a selection of real ales from local breweries and English wines. Our food is cooked-to-order using fresh, seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients. The menus change on a regular basis and we also offer a selection of specials. The Cat welcomes children over the age of 7 and dogs in the pub area only.

There are 2 king size rooms decorated in a modern style, another charming king room with period features and beamed ceiling, and a spacious suite with king size bed and separate dining area. All have en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, bathrobes, TV, free Wifi access, Nespresso coffee machine and refreshment tray. A full English or continental breakfast is included in overnight stays.
