The Old Railway Station

The Old Railway Station offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation in a beautiful rural setting near Petworth. A Victorian-era former railway station situated on the banks of the River Rother, guests can enjoy the unusual bedrooms and try our amazing cream teas or afternoon tea in The Waiting Room Tea Rooms. There is ample parking and extra treats, including champagne and flowers, can be arranged.

There are 2 bedrooms in the Station House and 8 rooms in the beautifully-converted Pullman Carriages. The Pullman rooms have a double or king-size bed, dual-aspect windows and en suite bathroom. The Upper Station House is a large room with a beamed ceiling, en suite shower room, super king bed or twin beds, plus additional space for a single bed. The Lower Station House is a king / twin room with an M3 rating for guests with mobility difficulties and features a walk-in shower in the en suite. All rooms have TV, seating and a hospitality tray.

Breakfast, afternoon tea and drinks can be delivered to your carriage or have a cooked or continental breakfast option in The Waiting Room. The Tea Rooms are also open for cream teas. There is a bar that serves a range of drinks, to be enjoyed inside or outside on the platform. This accommodation is within easy reach of the Goodwood Estate, Midhurst, Chichester and Petworth.
