Britten House is a Grade II listed Victorian townhouse and the 1913 birthplace of famous composer Benjamin Britten and where he resided for 21 years. Sensitively renovated by current owners Ann and Colin, guests can enjoy welcoming hospitality and comfortable guest rooms near Lowestoft seafront.

There are well-presented double rooms, a 4-poster room and a family room for 2 adults and 2 children. Each is equipped with en suite facilities, a television, free Wifi access, a hairdryer and hospitality tray for making tea and coffee. Ground floor bedrooms and rooms with sea views are available.

A delicious breakfast is served in the dining room, where you can look across to the sea whilst planning the day ahead. Guests can also take a ‘selfie’ in front of the commemorative Blue Plaque displayed at the front of the building. There is a public car park opposite and regular buses to Norwich pass right by the house.
