Haughley House

Haughley House is a medieval manor house with Georgian additions, offering bed and breakfast accommodation in the beautiful village of Haughley, about 3 miles from Stowmarket in Mid Suffolk. Visit England have accredited the house with 5-Stars, a Gold Award and Breakfast Award, so guests are assured of a wonderful stay.

Enjoy tea and cake on arrival, then enjoy settling in to your room. Each guest bedroom is individual and decorated to a high standard to compliment the beautiful original features of the property. Choose from a 4-poster, double room or a twin room with 2 double beds. Each room has en suite facilities, a TV and hospitality tray. A stair lift is available for guests with mobility difficulties. Free Wifi is provided.

Guests can also relax in the drawing room with oak panelled walls and sofas, in the sitting room with an open fire, or outside in the gardens with its croquet lawn. After a sound night’s sleep, the award-winning breakfast is served in the morning, cooked on the traditional Aga stove. Evening meals can be arranged and house parties can be accommodated.
