Balnagore Moss Estate Three Cottages

Balnagore Moss Estate, situated in the hamlet of Machrie on Arran, offers 2 former farmhouses and a bungalow for self-catering holidays. Less than a mile away is the Machriewater river for fishing, Machrie’s 9-hole golf course, a tea room, tennis court, play area and access to the unspoilt seashore.

The 2 farmhouses are Balnagore for 11 guests and Cairnfield for 10 guests. Both built in the Victorian era and surrounded by their own extensive grounds, they are perfect for larger group holidays. Rowanbank is the former post office, which has been sensitively renovated into a comfortable holiday home for 5 guests.

All cottages have equipped kitchens with a dishwasher, as well as Wifi, a TV and ample parking. Dogs are allowed with prior permission. There are 2 tennis and golf clubs within a 3-mile radius, and there are many wonderful walks in the local area including along the coast or to the historic standing stones on Machries Moor.
