Kildonan Hotel

On the south coast of Arran, the Kildonan Hotel was built in the 17th century and offers panoramic views across the Firth of Clyde. The hotel is located right on the seafront, with the beach a stone’s throw away. An ideal choice for a short break or holiday, Kildonan has a bistro and lounge, with a selection of excellent rooms.

There are various guest rooms available, including the affordable budget rooms, comfortable standard rooms, pet-friendly rooms and elegant suites with a seating area. The rooms have en suite facilities, underfloor heating, a television and hospitality tray. Guests can wander the lovely grounds or walk down to the beach.

The newly-extended bar and bistro offers a range of local ales and fine Scottish malt whiskies, whilst guests can also enjoy a delicious meal in the dining room with its glorious sea views. All food is locally-sourced, including a range of fresh seafood caught in the surrounding waters. Kildonan Hotel is also a popular wedding venue.
