Bearslake Inn

Welcome to Bearslake Inn which is beautifully situated in Lake, a hamlet near Okehampton in Devon. The Cross family are proud to have achieved a 4-Star Gold Award Inn rating from the AA. With wonderful hospitality and spectacular views of Dartmoor National Park, you find be delighted to find this accommodation, which was originally a Devon Longhouse. There are six en-suite rooms, all individually named and styled to the highest of standards. Our rooms come with king-size beds, TV, Wifi, hairdryer and tea and coffee-making facilities. We can provide a cot and z bed if needed, and there is an iron and ironing board available. Breakfast is served in our dining area, and we use a wide range of fresh local produce. Lunch and dinner is also available at the inn, and why not unwind after a long day exploring the area with a drink at our cosy bar or in our beer garden.

Dartmoor is a spectacular area with its stunning landscape of granite tors. This is excellent walking county, with Corn Ridge, Great Links Tor and Sourton Top are all accessible from the inn. It is also great for cycling, mountain biking, horse riding and golf, but also has plenty of amenities for families. There is lots to explore in Okehampton, with the castle ruins, town hall dating from 1685, the Georgian White Hart Inn, Museum of Dartmoor Life, Victorian Arcade Bakeries, interesting shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
