The Shieling is a quaint old wooden cottage offering self-catering accommodation in the village of Corrie on the Isle of Arran. Built in the early 1900s, it has been carefully furnished and updated to keep its original charm whilst providing all the modern amenities for family holidays. Dogs are also welcome with prior agreement.

The interior has beautiful wooden panelled walls throughout. There is a lounge with a window seat and 2 comfy sofas, a dining room, well-equipped kitchen, double bedroom, room with bunk beds and a newly-fitted bathroom. Outside, the enclosed garden with table and chairs and a barbeque provides a lovely setting for al fresco dining or watching the resident red squirrels. Parking is available for 2 cars.

Corrie is situated about 6 miles north of the main ferry port of Brodick on Arran. This is a small scenic village with mountains behind it. Corrie has two harbours that are about half a mile apart: Corrie Port and Sandstone Quay. There are shops and a restaurant in the village, a play area, plus a 9-hole golf course with magnificent views over the Firth of Clyde and the Arran mountains.
