The Beetle & Wedge

The Beetle and Wedge is a pretty riverside inn situated along the banks of the River Thames in the South Oxfordshire village of Moulsford, with a welcoming bar, excellent restaurant and a selection of comfortable guest suites in the recently renovated Ferryman’s Cottage next door. Boat hire is also available.

All suites are decorated with an individual theme, with king size or double beds, a TV, luxury toiletries, hairdryer, fridge, coffee pod machine and a hospitality tray. Sapphire and Belle are dog-friendly suites situated on the ground floor with en suite shower rooms. Olive and Willow are upstairs and have en suite bathrooms.

Breakfast is available at the inn if required. Visitors can also enjoy delicious lunches, dinners and Sunday roasts, served in the restaurant or out on the terrace. There are special menus for gluten, dairy-free diets and children. Sapphire Rose is a beautiful 8-seater boat which can be hired for self-drive or escorted adventures.
