The Prince of Burford

The Prince of Burford is a grand 18th century former coaching inn situated in Burford, offering an ideal base from which to explore the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire countryside. Family and dog-friendly, this hotel offers 20 guest bedrooms, a restaurant and bar, with award-winning beer from our own Butcombe Brewery.

Choose from our selection of Double, Twin, Family, Superior and Four-Poster Rooms, which are well-presented, with attractive décor. All of the rooms are equipped with en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, a television, hairdryer, desk, hospitality tray for making in-room tea and coffee, plus an iron and ironing board.

The Cotswold Gateway serves a range of seasonal menus and hearty pub classics, some of which feature our very own beers, such as beer-battered fish and chips! There is always a focus on fresh ingredients selected by local suppliers. The menu includes vegetarian and vegan options and we have a gluten-free and children’s menu.
