Toftcombs Mansion House

Toftcombs Mansion House is an elegant Baronial style red sandstone property situated in a beautiful rural setting near the town of Biggar. Accommodating up to 25 guests for self-catering, this house is ideal for weddings, family reunions, private parties or corporate retreats. Nestled in 10 acres of grounds, it is also less than an hour’s drive from both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The house retains many original charming features and guests have exclusive use of the whole mansion and grounds during their stay. There are formal and informal reception rooms featuring open fires and seating, whilst the dining room provides a large table where a meal can be enjoyed together. The fully-equipped kitchen has an Aga stove and a range of amenities.

There are 11 bedrooms; each one individual, plus a snooker games room and a music room with a guitar, drum kit and piano. Wifi is available throughout the house, as well as Sky TV channels including sports and movies. Outside, guests can explore the landscaped gardens and woodlands or have a game of 5-aside football on the recreation pitch. Dogs are welcome.
