Belvedere House

Belvedere House Bed and Breakfast is situated in the heart of the market town of Middleton-in-Teesdale, backing onto the beck which runs into the River Tees just down the road. Built in 1860 and affectionately called ‘The Belvedere’ by local residents, the B & B has ample off-road parking available. We also have a self-catering cottage sleeping 5 people, available for lets.

There are 3 B & B rooms. The twin room on the first floor has views across to St Mary’s Church and has a private bathroom. The 2 rooms on the top floor have beautiful exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and en suite facilities. One of these has a double bed and the other has a double, a single bed and seating area. All rooms have Wifi, a TV and drinks tray.

There is a guest lounge providing another place in which to relax. In the morning, a delicious full cooked English breakfast is served in the dining room. Additionally, The Firs is a 3-bedroomed pretty stone cottage providing excellent self-catering accommodation for up to 5 people, with all the contemporary amenities.
