Dowfold House Bed & Breakfast

Dowfold House Bed and Breakfast is a large Victorian home with gardens, situated in Weardale on the outskirts of the Pennines market town of Crook. Visitors can enjoy luxurious bedrooms and warm hospitality from owners Jill and Rupert. Visit England 4-Star Gold rated, also with a Breakfast Award, dogs are welcome and there is stabling for horses.

All 3 of the guest bedrooms are decorated to a high standard, featuring en suite facilities with underfloor heating, free Wifi access, radio alarm clock, USB sockets, hairdryer and hospitality tray for making in-room tea and coffee. The Pink Room and The Red Room have a king size bed and The Green Room is a twin room which can also be arranged with a super king bed.

Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room in the morning, with a wide range of options including a Dowfold House Full English or Lighter Breakfast, a continental, pancakes, kippers or smoked salmon with scrambled egg. Special diets are happily accommodated. There is ample on-site parking and guests can also sit out in the gardens in fine weather.
