Grove Lodge

Grove Lodge is a grand Victorian country house surrounded by an acre of lawned gardens, overlooking the Tees Valley in Middleton-in-Teesdale. Offering guest room accommodation, this B & B provides a scenic and peaceful setting for travellers visiting this beautiful area of England. Host Irene offers a warm welcome.

There are double and twin rooms, including 2 on the ground floor with their own entrance from the garden. One of these rooms has a kitchen, dining and seating area. Bedrooms are equipped with en suite facilities, a TV and a hospitality tray. Guests can also relax with a drink in the licensed lounge or enjoy the gardens.

A hearty cooked breakfast is served in the morning and evening meals can also be provided if required. There is ample private parking and Grove Lodge is only 10 minutes’ walk from the Pennine Way National Trail for walkers arriving on foot. Dogs are allowed at the B & B with prior agreement from the owner.
