Plas Newydd Bunkhouse

Plasnewydd Bunkhouse offers affordable and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful rural setting in Mid-Wales, a mile outside the town of Llanidloes. Situated near Glyndŵr's Way National Trail, it provides the perfect stopover for individuals, groups or expeditions of up to 27 people.

There are 2 large dormitories with bunks and a family room, with a large communal sitting room including comfy chairs, a dining area, well-equipped kitchen and shared toilets / shower rooms. Outside, is a patio with picnic tables, car parking and panoramic views across open countryside.

Pick-ups and drop-offs can be arranged along main walking routes. Other activities in the area include playing golf and horse riding, with Clywedog Reservoir a short drive away where you can go sailing, fly fish for brown and rainbow trout, visit the old lead mine workings or wildlife-watch.
