At Old Chapel Farm, the vision is to live close to the land by growing food, tending livestock, practising ancient crafts, living together and celebrating the seasons. Situated in Mid-Wales a few miles from Llanidloes, guests to the farm can stay in our eco-friendly yurts or wagon accommodation for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

The Welsh Yurts sleep 2 and 5 and are let out as a pair, set in their own field on the edge of the woods. There is a compost loo next door. The smaller one has a small made-up double futon and wood burning stove. The larger one has a made-up double bed, futon and 2 mattresses (bring your own bedding) and wood burning stove. There is no electricity but tea lights are provided.

The Orange Yurt sleeps up to 5 and is in a secluded location overlooking 3 uninhabited valleys. This traditional Mongolian yurt sleeps 2 in a made-up double bed and 3 on small mattresses stored under the beds, for which you bring bedding. There is no electricity in the yurt, with tea lights provided and a wood burning stove.

The Goods Wagon is ideal for a couple. Built around 1900, it has beautiful views over the farm and valleys, a small balcony with fire bowl for cooking outside, a small kitchen, double bed and wood burning stove. There is no electricity, but again, tea lights are provided. There is a 70 metre walk down to the loos in the farmyard from the wagon.
