The Gro Guest House

The Gro Guest House is a period property, formerly a vicarage, believed to date back to the 17th century. Located a short distance from the A483 road between Newtown and Welshpool, it is approached by a 100 metre drive and set within an acre of peaceful grounds. Owners Lin and Mick offer a warm welcome.

All 4 bedrooms are equipped with a TV and tea / coffee-making facilities. Choose from a double or twin room with en suite shower; a twin room with 2 armchairs and en suite with a slipper bath and shower; or another twin / family room with a sofa bed and a roll top bath and separate shower facilities.

Guests are also welcome to relax in the lounge with comfy sofas and a fire in the ornate fireplace. An excellent cooked breakfast is served in the morning. The house has mature gardens and there is car parking available. The River Severn, St Giles Golf Club, Cycle Route 81 and the Shropshire Hills AONB are within easy reach.
