The Forest Kerry Country House

The Forest Kerry Country House is a charming Victorian property offering luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation in a rural setting near the Powys town of Newtown. Set in 4 acres of beautiful gardens with views across the Vale of Kerry towards the Shropshire Hills, guests have access to a tennis court and woodland walks.

All 5 rooms are named after rivers around Powys. Ceri and Vyrnwy are both king size rooms; Dyfi is a superior king size room with a sofa; Radnor can be arranged as a super king bed or with twin beds and Halfren has a beautiful 4-poster bed. All feature en suite facilities, toiletries, a TV, free Wifi, hairdryer and hospitality tray.

A hearty breakfast is served in the morning, made with eggs from our own hens, to ensure a good start to the day. There is a guest lounge with a grand piano, a small kitchenette, children’s play area and tennis court. Ample parking and secure bike lock-up is available and children are welcome to help feed the sheep and chickens.
