The Old Corner Shop

The Old Corner shop is the former village stores situated in the pretty Welsh village of Berriew, near Welshpool. Sensitively converted into a modern self-catering holiday home for 4 people, with views of the River Rhiw from the upstairs bedrooms and a sundeck on the roof top, guests are assured of a comfortable and enjoyable visit.

The cosy lounge has 2 sofas, Sky TV and a DVD player, and the large fully-equipped kitchen includes a slow cooker, washing machine, dryer and dining table. The master bedroom is a king size with en suite facilities and there is a second king size room. Both of these can be arranged with 2 single beds if preferred. There is also a house shower room. Central heating and Wifi runs throughout the cottage. The sundeck is accessed via the landing and there is a patio outside with a table and chairs for al fresco dining. Private parking and secure cycle storage are available, and National Cycle Route 81 passes through the village.
