Smithy Cottage

Smithy Cottage is a self-contained holiday home, nestled in the garden of the 17th century The Horseshoes Inn in Brithdir, 3 miles outside Welshpool. Recently refurbished to provide all the self-catering facilities for 2 people and located alongside the canal, it provides the perfect retreat in Mid-Wales.

All on ground floor level, the cottage has its own entrance and car parking area. The living room has an L-shaped sofa, digital TV with Sky channels and a dining table / chairs. There is a modern equipped kitchen, a king size bedroom with exposed wooden beams along the ceiling and a shower room.

Outside is a private lawned garden with a picnic bench. Guests can pop next door and enjoy a drink in the bar or try a home cooked meal from the menu, which is available to view on our website. Special diets are accommodated and there are options for children. There is also a large beer garden and a play area.
