Greystones House

Greystones House is a charming 19th century stone-built home offering B & B accommodation in Lovington near Castle Cary. Steeped in history as a blacksmith’s former home, then extended in the Edwardian era as a residence for an aristocratic family, guests can today enjoy fine hospitality from current owners Diana and her family.

The guest room can be arranged with 2 singles or a large king size bed and features a TV, radio, Wifi and beverage tray. There is also a private bathroom with bathtub and power shower over. Visitors can also enjoy the lovely garden with its croquet lawn or have a game on the tennis court. On-site parking is available during a visit.

A delicious full cooked English breakfast will be cooked on the old Aga stove, with plenty of homemade preserves and freshly baked bread available. The award-winning Pilgrim’s Rest is just along the road serving evening meals and there is an excellent ice cream shop just opposite, serving their own brand of ice-cream made in the village.
