The Well Inn

The Well Inn is a 17th century village pub which has been recently refurbished and extended to give it a stylish and modern feel; situated in Cannard’s Grave, near Shepton Mallet. Named after the 53 foot well that can be seen under the restaurant floor, the inn provides beautiful guest bedrooms, fine food and a well-stocked bar.

Our bedrooms include Standard, Superior Suites and Family Rooms. All of our rooms have fresh, contemporary décor and several also have scenic views across the surrounding countryside. Each is equipped with en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, Freeview TV, free Wifi and a refreshment tray for making tea and coffee.

The restaurant is open for cooked breakfasts, lunch and evening meals, with options available for vegetarian and gluten-free diets. The bar serves a range of drinks, from fine wines and cocktails to the Somerset-brewed Wookey Ale. There is a car parking area and buses to Shepton Mallet and Yeovil travel past the inn.
