Langtry Country House

Langtry Country House is a grand detached Victorian villa set within 4 acres of beautiful gardens, on the edge of Exmoor in the pretty village of Washford and only 2 miles from the seafront along the Bristol Channel. This is a Visit England 4-Star rated bed and breakfast. Private parking is available and walkers are welcome.

All bedrooms are furnished to a high standard, featuring en suite facilities, hand-made toiletries, hairdryer, a TV, Wifi and hospitality tray. A full English breakfast, or alternative, will be served in the drawing room in the morning, made with eggs laid by our own hens. There is a guest lounge with sofas and a wood burning stove, as well as a terrace and garden.

Washford lies on the route of the Somerset Way and Celtic Way Exmoor Option. The village is next to Cleeve Abbey, one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in England. Washford railway station is a station on the West Somerset Railway and Tropiquaria Wildlife Park is within a short drive.
