Sunny Hill Park and Campsite

Sunny Hill Park is a family-owned touring and campsite with glamping accommodation, situated on the borders of 3 counties, at Riding Gate, near Wincanton. Ideally placed for exploring the attractions of Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset, it is also easily located off the A303 for routes to Devon and Cornwall.

There are grass pitches for tents and trailer tents with electric hook-ups, and hardstanding pitches with electricity for motorhomes and touring caravans. Glampers can stay in the Shepherd’s Hut for 4 people with twin beds and a double bed over, small kitchenette with fridge, sink and kettle; or the 6-berth Yurt, with a double bed, 4 pull-out mattresses, wood burning stove and kettle.

There are toilets, showers, a camping kitchen area and firepits available. Dogs are welcome across all of the site except in the Shepherd’s Hut. Licenced bar on site open from April - September. The nearest pub is a mile away and many local takeaways will deliver to the site. The racecourse is 2 miles away for race days and exhibitions also close Longleat, Stourhead Gardens and The Newt.
