Barnwell Farm Cottages

Barnwell Farm Cottages offer NITB 4-Star rated accommodation with a Green Tourism Award. In a wonderful setting for holidays, the cottages are only a mile from the shores of Strangford Lough on one side, and 2 miles from the Irish Sea on the other! Within the Ards Peninsula, the amenities of Newtownards are 8 miles away and Belfast is also within easy reach.

Each of the 7 sensitively-converted cottages retains traditional charm, are individually-named and sleep either 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 guests. All have an open plan living area with a wood burning stove, TV, seating, dining table and kitchen area, with a full bathroom, central heating and free Wifi. A welcome / starter pack is provided and a laundry service can be arranged.

Guests can use the games room featuring a pool table, air hockey and table tennis. This room can also be hired for special events or seminars. For relaxing walks, visitors will find marked trails around the farm. Pets are not allowed in the cottages, but there are outside kennels. Stabling for visiting horses is available.
