Slievemoyle Cottages are 6 holiday properties overlooking Strangford Lough, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just 2 miles outside Strangford village, 1 mile from National Trust-owned Castle Ward and 5 miles from Downpatrick. Dating back to the 18th century and sensitively modernised to offer NITB 4-Star rated self-catering accommodation, all of the cottages have original architectural features and a host of contemporary amenities.

Rose Cottage, Stable Cottage and Mill Cottage all sleep 5 people in 2 bedrooms, Ringcladdy Cottage sleeps 8 in 2 bedrooms, Blackthorn Cottage sleeps 8 in 3 bedrooms, and the largest is Ringcladdy Barn which sleeps 20 plus people in 4 bedrooms. All offer panoramic countryside views and are equipped with a kitchen, open fire or log burner in the lounge, central heating, Wifi and bath / shower room facilities. Each also has a garden and parking.

There are opportunities to take part in a range of outdoor pursuit activities in the nearby Castle Ward Estate, and the sandy Kilclief beach is only 2 miles away along a quiet and safe country road. Bicycle hire (including electric bikes) and canoe hire is readily available in the local area. The city centre of Belfast is about an hour’s drive away.
