Elaghvale Lodge

Offering a home-from-home, Elaghvale Lodge is located on the outskirts of Derry, in a quiet, rural setting near the Derry and Donegal border. Offering views across the countryside to Grainan Fort, yet only 15 minutes’ drive to the city centre, owner Ann and family provide a warm welcome and can supply local tourist information.

All on ground floor level, making it ideal for guests with mobility difficulties; there are 3 guest bedrooms including a double, single and family room. Each is equipped with an en suite shower, TV with Freeview channels, Wifi and tea and coffee-making facilities. There is ample on-site parking with no-step access to the front door.

A fantastic breakfast is served in the morning, and there is a bar and grill a mile-and-a-half away. Culmore Country Park is close by offering scenic walks and views across the Foyle Estuary. Derry has an excellent selection of shops, restaurants, bars, a cathedral and museums, as well as the famous city walls and walking tours.
