Birchwood Cottage

Birchwood Cottage is a Visit Scotland 4-Star rated self-catering holiday home situated on the outskirts of Braemar. A timber-cladded building all on ground floor level, nestled in beautiful gardens and located opposite the village duck pond, it is perfectly placed for exploring Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms National Park.

Sleeping 4, the cottage features a spacious lounge with dual-aspect windows, log burning stove, 3-piece suite, TV and a dining table. There is also a fully-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms comprise a double and a twin room and there is a bathroom with an electric shower over the bathtub. Wifi is available throughout the cottage.

Outside is a patio area with a table and chairs and a well-maintained landscaped garden shared with the main house. The cottage has off-road car parking and secure storage for bikes and equipment. Braemar has a variety of shops, places to eat and the Highland Heritage Centre. The village is popular as a base for outdoor enthusiasts.
