Coombe Brook

Welcome to Coombe Brook, a charming bed and breakfast situated in an idyllic rural location, just 15 minutes walk from Dawlish. We are easy to find by road, and we offer a pick-up service from the railway station if required. Hosts Viv and Tim offer warm and friendly accommodation which retains many original Victorian features, such as the wrought iron staircase, open fireplaces and a well in the parlour. There is a double en-suite room, a double with shared bathroom and a large family room (double or triple) also with a shared bathroom. All rooms are beautifully presented and include a TV, free Wifi and a hospitality tray for making tea and coffee. Breakfast takes places in our Music Room and overlooks the pretty gardens. There are a delicious range of options to choose from, including home-made preserves, bread and muffins, and our Full English includes locally-produced bacon and sausages from Woodland Farm, an organic producer. We can also offer evening meals by arrangement. Coombe Brook is proud to be a Fairtrade establishment.

Dawlish is a beautiful English seaside town with a golden sandy beach and plenty of shops and amenities for your short break, romantic getaway or family holiday. Why not sit in the central park with an ice cream whilst admiring our famous black swans, or try some exhilarating watersports or a boat trip. The South Devon railway line runs next to the seafront, where you can enjoy one of the most scenic railway journeys in England. Dawlish is a paradise for walkers and cyclists alike, with so many paths and trails to follow, including the famous South-West Coastal Path.
