Caberfeidh Cottage is a self-contained holiday home sleeping up to 5 guests, attached to the main Caberfeidh House on the Isle of Islay, which is known as ‘Queen of the Hebrides’. The property is situated in the village of Bruichladdich, which was originally built around the Bruichladdich Whisky Distillery which dates from 1881. Owners Mary and Robin Stevenson provide a warm welcome to the accommodation.

The cottage provides a spacious lounge with sofas, open fire and a TV. There is also an equipped kitchen with a dining table, plus 2 bedrooms on the ground floor including a double and a single. There is also a twin bedroom in the attic area with beds in the recess, ideal for children. A bathroom completes the accommodation. Wifi is available. The cottage has private parking and a large shed providing table tennis and storage facilities for bicycles.

Islay is world-famous for its production of a smoky, peaty-style of single malt whisky. Bruichladdich has a well-equipped shop which also acts as a post office. Bruichladdich Pier is worth a visit and offers wonderful views towards Bruichladdich and the Rhinns. The island is full of interesting places including beaches, nature reserves and quaint villages. There is also golfing, diving, fishing, birdwatching and pony trekking to enjoy.
