Oban Seil Steading

Oban Seil Farm is a friendly, family-owned sheep farm situated near Clachan-Seil on the Isle of Seil. The isle is one of the Slate Islands, located on the east side of the Firth of Lorn, 7 miles south-west of Oban. Offering Visit Scotland 4-Star rated self-catering cottages, and more recently, bed and breakfast rooms, the farm is surrounded by tranquil views across open fields and over Seil Sound.

The holiday cottages have been converted from former farm buildings to provide modern facilities. The Bothy is a stone cottage sleeping 2 or 3 in an en suite bedroom with a double and a single bed; Number 3 The Steadings can sleep 4 in a double and a twin room; and Number One and Number Two The Steadings can sleep 4 to 5 in a double and twin room, plus there is an extra bed on the landing.

There are also the 2 B & B bedrooms in the main house; South and East Room (which is slightly smaller), which both feature a comfortable double bed. A superb cooked breakfast is served in the morning, including sourdough bread, marmalade and eggs, made or produced on the farm. Please visit the website for more details.
