The Lancaster Hotel

Welcome to The Lancaster Hotel, situated along the seafront in the centre of Oban, adjacent to St. Columba’s Cathedral and within walking distance to the town centre, bus / train stations and ferry terminal. This accommodation has been run by the same family for nearly 60 years and is both family and dog-friendly.

The hotel can accommodate up to 60 guests making it ideal for groups, tours and business guests. There are single, double, twin and family rooms available, 7 of which offer sea views, and some allow smoking. All except some of the single rooms have private facilities, and all provide a TV, hairdryer, trouser press and beverage tray.

Guests can relax in the sun lounge, enjoy a drink from the bar or use the on-site leisure facilities. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the bay in the morning, and light meals are available in the main bar during the day. Just ask the friendly staff for advice or suggestions about things to see and do in the local area.
