Welcome to Riverside Caravan Park, a small 4-acre touring site with 60 pitches, situated in the Nottinghamshire market town of Worksop, between the Chesterfield Canal and River Ryton. A short walk to the amenities of the town centre, it is ideal for those exploring this area of Nottinghamshire known as ‘Robin Hood Country’.
Open year-round, the site offers grass and hardstanding pitches for caravans and motorhomes, with electric hook-up and disposal points available. Dogs are also allowed. There are free showers, Calor Gas exchange, a tourist information hut and guests can enjoy a drink in the County Cricket Clubhouse next door.
Along the northern edge of the park, the Chesterfield Canal is well-stocked for coarse fishing. The Sandhurst Lake is across the canal providing an alternative to river fishing. The town has many shops, restaurants and a cinema, with lovely walks along the canal or lake. Clumber Park and Sherwood Forest are a short drive away.
