The Hill House Inn dates from the mid-16th century and offers a microbrewery and guest room accommodation, along with a friendly bar and excellent food, in the pretty seaside village of Happisburgh (pronounced ‘Hais-bro’), on the Norfolk coast. Famous former patrons include Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

The guest room is situated in the converted signal box, providing panoramic sea views. Sleeping 3, there is a double, a single bed and an en suite bathroom. Accompanying children and dogs are also welcome. A delicious breakfast is served in the inn. The pub serves a range of drinks, including ale from the Dancing Men Brewery which is brewed on-site. Food is available for lunch and main evening meals, with a selection of pub favourites and every day specials.

Happisburgh is dominated by the red and white candy striped lighthouse and the large village church with its tall tower. The village lanes are lined with cottages, many of which are built from flint and thatch. The dog-friendly sandy beach extends for miles in both directions and the Norfolk Coast Path and nearby gardens at East Ruston Old Vicarage are popular attractions.
