Situated on a family farm surrounded by the South Downs National Park, Holden Farm Camping is under 2 miles from the village of Cheriton and 6 miles from Winchester. This site is a great holiday base or convenient stopover for walkers of the South Downs Way or those visiting Matterely Basin Grand Prix track and other local attractions.

Family-friendly, Holden Farm provides traditional camping facilities for tents only. Each pitch has a firepit and there is a separate field for groups. The amenities block offers clean WCs, hot showers, a washing-up area, fridges, freezers, kettle and charging points. The Tuck Shop sells essentials and local food items.

Cheriton has 2 pubs, and a local shop / post office. The Flower Pots Inn has its own microbrewery. There is also a village hall, tennis courts and cricket pitches. The parish church dates from the 13th century and is a Grade I listed building. A mile to the east of the village is a monument to the 1644 Battle of Cheriton.
