The New Forest Inn

The New Forest Inn is a traditional 18th century country inn located in the small village of Emery Down near Lyndhurst. A dog-friendly establishment, surrounded by the trees in the heart of the National Park, it provides a restful haven for travellers, including walkers and cyclists looking for a comfortable room and refreshments.

All 4 bedrooms are furnished to a high standard to complement the original quirks of the inn. There is a small double for 1 or 2 people, a twin room and larger double room all with en suite facilities, plus a double room with an adjacent private shower room. All have TV, a hospitality tray and 24-hour access separate from the main inn.

Home cooked food is served throughout the day. Sunday lunches, special children’s meals and handmade dog treats are also available. The bar is stocked with a range of drinks, including local real ales which can be enjoyed inside or out in the beer garden. There is a car park and many walking routes straight from the doorstep.
