Apple Cottage and Rhubarb Cottage are both 3-bedroomed self-catering holiday cottages located on a quiet residential road called ‘The Custards’ in Lyndhurst; a large village in the New Forest National Park in Hampshire, about 9 miles south-west of Southampton. Lyndhurst is proudly known as the ‘Capital of the New Forest’.

Recently refurbished, these Visit England 4-Star Victorian-era cottages are bright and airy, with modern high quality furnishings and fixtures. Guests enjoy luxury bedding and towels, large flat screen TVs, coffee machines, cleaning essentials (including a dishwasher / no bio washing tablets) and much more. The cottages are dog-friendly.

Lyndhurst has a wide range of tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and independent shops. In addition, the nearby hamlets of Bank, Emery Down and Swan Green boast another 3 pubs. The New Forest Heritage Centre is home to a museum, gift shop, library and Visitor Information Centre. The surrounding area has miles of walking and bike trails.
