Ye Olde George Inn

Welcome to Ye Olde George Inn, a charming riverside coaching inn dating back to the 15th century, situated in the historic village of East Meon. Nestled in the heart of the South Downs National Park and just 4 miles from Petersfield, the inn provides 5 guest rooms, a friendly bar, great food menu and free parking. Dogs are welcome.

All 5 rooms are attractively furnished, with en suite facilities, luxury toiletries, a TV, free Wifi and a well-stocked hospitality tray with still and sparkling water. There are double, super king / twin bedded rooms and additional beds are available for children. Some rooms allow dogs with prior notice. A continental breakfast is included.

The restaurant serves a range of dishes, freshly made from the very best local ingredients, with a changing menu to reflect the seasons. The team are happy to cater for all kinds of dietary requirements, and given enough notice, can design dishes to suit all guests. At present there are separate gluten-free and vegetarian menus.
