The Dovecote Inn

The Dovecote Inn is a charming pub with guest rooms situated in the historic village of Laxton. Originally built as a farmhouse, the building was converted into a pub in the 1800s, providing a welcoming place to stay for travellers throughout the centuries. Today, current hosts Sam and Sophie and the staff team ensure a warm welcome and excellent hospitality.

The 3 bed and breakfast rooms are in the beautifully converted barn adjacent to the main building. Maid Marian and Robin Hood are both double rooms with en suite shower facilities and Sherwood Suite is on 2 levels, with a large bathroom downstairs featuring a freestanding bath and walk-in shower and a king size bed upstairs under the beautiful vaulted beamed ceiling.

All of the guest bedrooms have complimentary toiletries, a television, free Wifi, coffee machine and hospitality tray. A complimentary breakfast is included and there is ample guest car parking outside. All visitors can also enjoy a dish from the home cooked food menu or enjoy a drink from the well-stocked bar. Regular classic car evenings are held throughout the year.
