Flo's Cottage

Flo’s Cottage is located in the Nottinghamshire village of Averham, 3 miles from Newark-on-Trent. This 19th century former farmworker’s cottage has been sensitively renovated to provide comfortable self-catering accommodation for 5 people and retains many original features including beamed ceilings and a cast-iron fireplace.

The cottage features a comfortable lounge with open fire, TV, dining table and French doors opening onto the patio. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, electric cooker and microwave. There is also a master bedroom with double bed and a second bedroom with a double bed and single bunk over the top. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower over, and the whole cottage has central heating and Wifi access. Outside, there is a lovely lawned garden with a children’s play area, outdoors furniture and a barbeque, as well as off-road car parking. The River Trent flows close by.
