The Bannockburn Inn

The Bannockburn Inn, in the centre of Helmsdale, is Ideally placed for those following the NC500 or people looking for a convenient stopover en route to John O’Groats. Tourists, including cyclists and walkers, are very welcome. Guests will find friendly hospitality, self-catering rooms, a bar and restaurant.

All of the rooms are let out on a self-catering basis. The North Wing rooms consist of an en suite family room with a double and 2 single beds; and 2 twin rooms which share a bathroom. The South Wing has a family room with a double and 2 single beds; and a double room, all sharing a bathroom. There is also a communal guest kitchen in each wing equipped with a cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine.

The Tartan Lounge Bar and Restaurant provides a comfortable place in which guests can relax with a drink, with a menu of delicious food available, including our award-winning steaks. There is parking and the railway station is a short walk away. Private functions and parties can be accommodated.
