The Hoose

The Hoose is a self-catering holiday home overlooking the harbour in Helmsdale on the east coast of Sutherland. Full of charming features including beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and with panoramic views across the estuary and out to sea, the house provides contemporary amenities to comfortably sleep up to 6 guests.

Inside, is a living area featuring a fully-equipped kitchen, dining table and cosy snug. There is also a separate lounge with sofas, armchairs, TV and telephone; plus a downstairs twin bedroom, as well as 2 double bedrooms and a family bathroom upstairs. There is an office area in the attic space. Wifi and central heating are available throughout.

Outside the house, there is a large garden with lawn, barbeque and shed for the storage of equipment. Guests will also find on-road parking and seating at the front where the fishing boats coming and going can be seen. The centre of the village is a short walk away with its museum, restaurants and independent shops.
