The Old Plough Self Catering and Bed & Breakfast Accommodation is situated in the Welland River Valley in the Rutland village of Caldecott. This mid-15th century ale and mailings house is steeped in history as a village pub and coaching inn. Constructed from local limestone with a Collyweston stone slate roof, the house together with the stables block and coach house, has Grade II listed status.

There are 3 self-catering options available; The Snug for 2 guests with a twin bedroom; The Parlour for 3 or 4 with a triple and a single bedroom; and The Barn, with an en suite double bed in the mezzanine. All have Wifi, a living room, equipped kitchen and bathroom. There are 4 B & B rooms with twin beds, en suite facilities, Wifi, a TV, desk, microwave and fridge. Two have a kitchenette. A delicious breakfast is provided.

There is off-road car parking available, plus extensive gardens and an orchard which leads to rolling fields of the Welland River Valley and a view of Rockingham Hill. Caldecott is the most southerly village in Rutland, surrounded by rolling countryside and close to the Eyebrook Reservoir Nature Reserve, 11th century Rockingham Castle and Rockingham Forest. There is a pub and a restaurant in the village.
