The Stag

The Stag at Maidwell dates back to the 18th century and is much more than a village pub, offering B & B rooms, a coffee shop, great-tasting food and a venue for weddings and other special events. The Stag is conveniently close to Northampton, Kettering and Market Harborough, with extensive gardens and parking. Coach parties are welcome. The area is known for its good cycling and walks and therefore we often entertain groups of outdoors enthusiasts. The pub is also dog-friendly.

There is a single room, a twin and 2 double rooms; each with en suite facilities, free Wifi, TV and a refreshment tray for making tea and coffee. Overnight guests enjoy a complimentary breakfast in the morning to help start the day. Food is also served at lunchtime and in the evening from a menu of British classics, with a range of seasonal specials. The well-stocked bar offers a range of wines and beers, and the coffee shop is open during the daytime.
