The Briar Rose Holiday Cottage

The Briar Rose Holiday Cottage is a modern bungalow sleeping 3 or 4, in a quiet residential area, near Houghton-le-Spring. Perfectly placed for trips to Durham, Sunderland and Gateshead, and also a short drive away from the North Pennines and beaches along the coast, it is ideal for holidays, city breaks, business trips and walking holidays alike.

The cottage has been stylishly furnished and provides a lounge with sofas, coal burning-effect electric fire, TV and DVD player, plus a kitchen including a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, wall-mounted Smart TV and dining table. There is a double bedroom, single room with additional pull-out bed and a bathroom with bathtub and shower enclosure.

Guests will find Wifi access and central heating provided throughout the house. Outside, there is a pleasant enclosed garden at the rear of the property, with a lawned area and patio. Off-road car parking is also available at the front for 1 or 2 vehicles. There are 2 play areas just a short walk away and plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants in the town.
