Weardale Retreat is a luxurious shepherd’s hut situated on Newlands Hall Farm on the edge of the North Pennines, between Wolsingham and Frosterley. The perfect romantic escape for couples and those who enjoy waking up with nature, guests can enjoy panoramic views across the Durham Dales whilst relaxing in the wood fired hot tub.

The hut takes glamping to the next level! There is a double bed, seating area, television, Wifi, wood burning stove, bespoke kitchenette including a microwave, fridge, coffee machine, toaster and kettle, as well as an en suite shower room. Outside, there is a table and chairs, BBQ, firepit and car parking area with electric vehicle charging available.

The ingredients for a continental breakfast and flowers and wine can be provided, and dogs can stay for free, with a fenced garden available. Situated to the west of Durham in open countryside, the hut is in beautiful Lower Weardale, ideal for visiting Bishop Auckland, Barnard Castle, Darlington, Hexham and Newcastle.
