College Farm

College Farm provides welcoming bed and breakfast rooms, plus a boutique cottage for 2, in a beautiful rural location near Thetford. A 14th century former priests’ college, this is an historic and peaceful setting exclusively for adults, surrounded by scenic grounds, gardens and the prehistoric ponds. The venue is licensed to host weddings or special events. Owners Katharine and Richard Wolstenholme provide a warm welcome.

The 3 en suite bed and breakfast rooms are all unique. The Spare Room has medieval panelling, with a super king bed which can be arranged as a twin. Richard’s Room is a super king / twin tucked away in a private wing of the house and Edward’s Room is a double overlooking the gardens. An Aga cooked breakfast is served in the morning, including eggs laid by the resident hens. Suppers and packed lunches can also be provided by prior arrangement.

The Goat Shed is a cosy self-catering studio for 2 guests, with a comfortable living / sleeping area opening out onto a private courtyard. The shed is equipped with a sofa, chairs, log burning stove, kitchen area, a king size bed and an in-room freestanding bathtub, plus a separate shower room. Outside is a patio area with a fire pit and lawn. In addition, The Cattle Shed is a party barn available for hire for weddings and other events.
