The Old Stable

The Old Stable at Iken is a self-catering home overlooking the River Alde in this small village near Suffolk’s North Sea coast. A former stables, this sensitively converted property now provides holiday accommodation for 6 people. The surrounding area is perfect for coast and countryside, with plenty of scope for sightseeing, walking and cycling.

The living room includes a wood burning stove, seating, Freesat TV, DVD player and a dining table / chairs. The kitchen is fully-equipped and includes a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and breakfast bar. The hayloft, in the gallery area; has a TV, sofa bed and futon bed and can be used as an extra bedroom, play area or additional sitting room.

There are 2 main bedrooms; a master king size bedroom and a twin bedroom. Guests will also find an upstairs bathroom and shower room downstairs. Outside, there is a garden with a patio and BBQ, offering an idyllic setting for al fresco dining whilst watching the river flowing by. Private parking is available. Long-term stays can be negotiated.
