The Peedie Hoose

The Peedie Hoose is a traditional stone-built cottage recently refurbished situated near Dounby. Offering Visit Scotland 4-Star rated self-catering accommodation for those visiting the Isle of Orkney for its beautiful scenery, wildlife and tranquillity, it provides a comfortable holiday home for up to 5 guests and is ideal for family holidays.

The lounge has a leather sofa, recliner, TV, DVD player and mini Hifi. There is a well-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and washer / dryer, plus a dining area with patio access through glass sliding doors. Guests will find a double bedroom and a triple room with double bed and bunk over. There is also a wet room.

The patio has a picnic bench for al fresco dining and the lawn behind the cottage has a swing and slide for the children to enjoy, plus there is a large area in which to play football. Off-road parking is also available. Dounby has a hotel and restaurant, butcher, post office, convenience store, pharmacy and gift shop, and the area is filled with opportunities for outdoors activities.
